On the morning of March 15, the distinguished professorship appointment ceremony of Quanzhou Cultural Heritage Research Institute was held on the main campus of QNU.
Ke Ruiqing, Secretary of the Party Committee of QNU, pointed out that establishing Quanzhou Cultural Heritage Research Institute is an important measure to deeply study and implement the cultural thoughts of President Xi, fully leverage its geographical advantages and university characteristics, and promote the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional Chinese culture. At the ceremony, President Chen Changping awarded appointment letters to Professor Luo Shiping from the Department of Art History in the Central Academy of Fine Arts, research processor Zhan Changfa from the Chinese Academy of Cultural Heritage, Professor Yang Changming from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at Beijing University of Technology, and Professor Wang Mingming from the Department of Sociology at Peking University.
